How we research
We read what long-term users report in public threads and review sites, check vendor documentation and pricing pages, and verify prices with each vendor before we write a verdict.
Where the evidence comes from
We read public discussions — Reddit threads, Hacker News comments, and reviews on G2, Capterra and Trustpilot — and group what people repeatedly say into themes. Every quote we publish is a verbatim excerpt and links to the thread it came from, so you can read it in context and disagree with our reading of it.
We do not publish a claim we cannot link to a source. Research that has not been checked by a person is not published at all.
How we rank
Rankings reflect what the evidence supports for a specific kind of buyer. Each page says who a tool suits and who it does not, and a position changes when the evidence does.
How we make money
We may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. It never affects our rankings. When you buy through one of our links, the price you pay is unchanged.
Corrections
Pricing and features change. Each tool page shows the date we last checked. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say that we did.
